My Impact
In September 2016, I began an engagement with the Greater Sacramento Economic Council, in Sacramento, California. My core role was to revamp the organization’s struggling marketing and communications profile, while developing a comprehensive series of digital campaigns to attract new business to the Greater Sacramento region.
Within the first few months in the role, I had completely rebranded the organization, developed a new digital presence, delivered creative, though-provoking marketing campaigns, and initiated a comprehensive digital marketing campaign in the the Bay Area.

- Increased web traffic by 348% and surpassed online ranking of competitors in Seattle and Portland within one year
- Spearheaded successful video campaigns, original editorial engagements, infographics, email campaigns, and websites
- Created digital campaigns into target markets, primarily the Bay Area, to shift perception of the Sacramento region
- Delivered experiential marketing campaigns in the Sacramento region and the Bay Area
- Partnered with respected brands, leaders and artists in the region to create inclusive, compelling marketing products
- Engaged to receive coverage for the region in the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, Forbes, and Fast Company
- Increased monthly social media impressions by 616% and engagement by 427% within the first year
